Gods of Money
Gods of Money is the first app for learning the basics of macroeconomics. Designed for high school and college students, Gods of Money provides a unique interactive environment for studying macroeconomics. Combining visualization and simulation of the U.S. economy, with Gods of Money students can see how the Federal Reserve, Congress, and the White House manipulate the flow of money across the nation. They can see how much money is made by businesses, where the government gets its money and how it is spent, and how much money goes to individual households.
Students can also try their hand at manipulating the economy. They can change to Active mode at any time and play the part of the Federal Reserve, Congress, and the White House - the "Gods of Money" - by setting the interest rate, tax rates, budget, and more and immediately see what effect the changes have on the economy. They can even turn off the Fed or go on the gold standard.
